Restore Your Home to Its Pre-Loss Condition

Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration

Fire Damage Restoration Made Easy

Experiencing a residential fire is stressful enough. You shouldn’t have to stress about the fire restoration too. With decades of experience helping families recover after a fire, we have the equipment, the team, and the expertise to get the job done right and get you back into your home as soon as possible.

Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration Services

From beginning to end, our highly trained technicians will handle every aspect of the fire damage restoration process. Your home is your livelihood, where your family lives and spends a large percentage of their time. Our fire damage restoration services include:

Water Extraction & Drying

Our highly skilled IICRC Certified Water Damage Restoration Technicians (WRT) technicians will immediately remove all standing water from the premises to protect against further structural damage. Our mitigation teams use applied structural drying procedures and techniques to properly dry the structure and restore it to its pre-loss condition. We pride ourselves on using state-of-the-art mitigation equipment and providing our technicians with the essential tools they need to deliver the best results.

Eliminating Smoke Odor & Soot Removal

The first step in fire damage restoration is to determine the source. Once the source is determined, we can design and implement a deodorization plan throughout the structure. The second step is to determine the heat line. These two things, in combination, will allow our technicians to properly design a plan for the demo and structure cleaning. After removing the source from the structure, our next step is to dispatch technicians to perform both mechanical and chemical cleaning.

Inventory & Restoration of Commercial Contents

Contents that suffered fire damage in a loss need immediate attention. Items are susceptible to high levels of moisture, temperature, and gasses produced during a fire. All content items that need to be taken off-site will be inventoried in our contents software, “Contents Track.” These items will be photo documented, professionally packed, and moved to our secure, climate-controlled 50,000 square foot facility. The insured and insurance adjuster will be provided with a detailed list of everything that was inventoried and moved. Metro’s Content Technicians will also produce a “non-restorable” list for the insured and adjusters. Once contents are unpacked, they will be available for in-person inspections by the insured and insurance adjuster to determine how in-depth they would like to go in the fire damage restoration process on each piece individually.

On-site Structure Cleaning

Our Production Manager, Loss Specialists, and Construction Superintendents all specialize in dry and wet cleaning methods to ensure proper soot removal when designing a structure cleaning plan. Metro’s team will test the pH of the soot to properly determine the levels of acidity or alkalinity. This is used when determining the proper chemicals used to neutralize the materials affected. Our trained technicians are Aerial Platform Certified. Most cleaning applications are performed on lifts to reach high ceilings and walls.
